Expected date of Samsung galaxy fold 2 ?

At this stage, very little is known about the release date of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. Samsung will unveil the device at the Galaxy Unpack event on November 11, as they did with the original Galaxy Fold last year. Electronic giants, however, may want to focus on the horizontally moving Samsung Galaxy Flip Z, as well as give the current Galaxy Fold more breathing space, given the delays that meant it was only released in September 2019.

So new date will be in 2020.

Cost !!

There’s no news on the price yet, but it’s eye-catching 2200 $ original price tag. After the first Galaxy Fold mixed reception, Samsung is expected to add a number of changes – which could increase the price.

Storage

The Samsung Galaxy Fold already had a huge 512GB of memory, so let’s assume this feature stays the same.

Camera

There is a rumor circulating around that the Galaxy Fold 2 has an incredible 108 MP camera, which is possible because the Samsung Galaxy S11 / S20 Ultra is said to be sporty.

Other rumors suggest that the foldable phone will instead have a 12 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultralight lens, which is slightly more reliable than the original 12 MP cameras.

The front camera is believed to be 10 MP and is likely to be a hole punch design to make folding easier.

Processor

Rumor has it that the Galaxy Fold 2 uses the same Snapdragon 855 chipset as the original, which is interesting considering that the newer Snapdragon 865 is now widely available and allegedly used by the Samsung Galaxy S11 / S20.

5G capability

Given that the first Galaxy Fold was an early adopter of 5G, it is likely that this successor will also support the new data network.

Screen size

Little is known about the Galaxy Fold 2 screen, except that it is likely to be made of ultra-light glass for a stronger display. Rumor has it that the foldable phone has a larger 8-inch screen and possibly comes with a pen.

Connectivity

Like the original, the Galaxy Fold 2 supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, and it offers faster charging speeds than the first flip.
